Bending die

Ø25 tube bent into an “S” shape, manufactured from a “U”-shaped semi-finished profile.

The client required the product to be manufactured in series on a subcontracting basis. A study was therefore commissioned for the design of a single-station forming die, taking into account potential deformation of the tubular component during the forming process.

The solution consists of a guided die that enables the part to be manufactured using compensating blank holders.
