The customer required the product to be manufactured in relatively small quantities. Therefore, a manually loaded mould was designed to reduce the costs associated with the manufacturing process.

The proposed solution is a guided die that ensures accurate positioning of the component at each station. After each press stroke, the component is manually transferred from one station to the next, allowing different machining or forming operations to be performed at each stage.
